You will undertake your doctoral studies through a collaborative arrangement between Monash University and the University of Warwick. At the core of this program is the completion of a substantial research thesis on an agreed topic under the guidance of supervisors from both Monash and Warwick. Your research training will also be further enhanced by professional development activities designed to support you in your academic and professional development as per the program you are enrolled into. Upon completion of this joint PhD program, you will be able to demonstrate that you have successfully designed and executed a research project that makes an original and substantial contribution to your discipline. In your research journey, you will have also acquired the necessary skills and professional attributes to make an immediate and enduring impact on academia, industry, government, or community.
Standard entry requirements
- A bachelors degree of at least four years in a relevant discipline, which includes a research thesis or project, with a minimum overall average grade of an honours degree equivalent to the Second Class Honours Division A or
- A masters degree in a relevant discipline which includes a research thesis or project equivalent to at least 25 percent of one year of full-time study, with a minimum overall average grade of honours equivalent to the Second Class Honours Division A or
- A qualification, or combination of qualifications and relevant professional experience, deemed equivalent by the GRC (or delegate).
