The Master of Applied Econometrics has a strong emphasis on developing analytical skills required to design and implement econometric projects for the government and business sectors. You will engage in comprehensive study of applied econometrics, time series analysis, financial econometrics, macroeconometrics and microeconometrics. The course allows you to focus your studies from the start, blending a conceptual theoretical framework with practical applications.

Structure

The course is structured in three parts. Part A. Advanced preparatory, Part B. Mastery knowledge and Part C. Application studies.

Standard entry requirements

An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), with a preferred Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65 or an equivalent GPA. Applicants will be ranked and selected based on their entire academic record.
