Colin and Eleanor Bourke Indigenous Postgraduate Scholarship

In honour of Colin and Eleanor Bourke's dedication to Monash University's human rights initiatives, the Colin and Eleanor Bourke Indigenous Postgraduate Scholarship has been established to support the ongoing education of indigenous students in undertaking a postgraduate coursework degree.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be of Indigenous Australian background; and be commencing or continuing full-time study in a postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia. Selection is based on academic achievement and need. Preference is given to students who show evidence of community-mindedness and active involvement in community work. Tenure is dependent on maintaining a credit average.

Amount $20,000

The scholarship is valued at $20,000 per year for the minimum duration of the degree.
