This unit is part of the Health Training Package. It describes the skills and knowledge required to maintain health and wellbeing by preventing and managing personal stress. It applies to work in a range of health and community services settings, in particular work roles that operate in high stress situations and circumstances.

Established in 1995, Morgan & Hay Community Services Training & Development Centre is a Registered Training Organisation. It is now part of the Maxima Group [Training Services]. They provide training in community services, home and community care, disability, mental health (non-clinical), service co-ordination and leisure and lifestyle. Short courses for employers are also offered and can assist with workforce planning and development. Classes are kept to a maximum of 15 students for internal learning and 10 students for online learning. It regularly provides training under funding from Government departments and is a 'Workready' registered provider.
