Electives: Solder electrical wiring and circuits; Install air conditioning systems; Overhaul air conditioning and HVAC system compressors; Carry out mechanical pre-repair operations; Use and maintain tools and equipment in an automotive workplace; Prepare vehicles for customer use; plus more.

Established in 1982, The MTA Group Training Scheme is a Registered Training Organisation with training facilities at Royal Park in South Australia. MTA - GTS apprentices employed as motor/diesel mechanics, panel beaters and motor painters participate in a 10 week block basic trade training program prior to being placed with a host employer.
