Building a Brighter Future Together.

From our beginnings as the first Australian university to introduce a flexible admissions system, making education more accessible, to the global centre for learning, teaching, research and industry we are today, we have always kept sight of our purpose. Grounded by our principles and guided by our strategic plan, we remain a place of inclusive education.

With more than 25,000 students and 2,400 staff from 90 different countries, we are proud to be recognised for the impact that our graduates, research and innovations have made – both in Western Australia and around the world.

 Facilities and Services

Our Perth campus is where the Murdoch experience first began. Set amongst native bushland just 15kms from the CBD, the campus is built on over 22 hectares and is one of the largest campuses in Australia.

As a Murdoch student, you can expect five-star teaching quality, world-changing research and flexible course options.

You’ll learn in environments both in and outside of the classroom and have the opportunity to benefit from a wide range of facilities, both professionally and personally - from our new, award-winning building, Boola Katitjin, which combines the latest technologies and state-of-the-art amenities with mindful and sustainable design, to our animal hospital and working farm to our chiropractic and psychology clinics, and from our IT innovation hub to our law moot court.

Student Experience

Murdoch is a place where you can be yourself and be appreciated for who you truly are. It’s the kind of place where the lecturers know you by name, and down-to-earth students wave to you across the lawns of Bush Court. There are plenty of ways you can get involved in campus life, with clubs, societies and the Student Guild, who regularly host events and activities across campus, including market stalls every Thursdays during semester. There’s always something happening to keep you informed and entertained.
