The world needs more sustainable growth and development, driven by industry leaders including engineers to develop environmentally sound systems. In this course you'll learn how to design water, energy, shelter and primary production systems. You'll explore engineering and ecological issues with a global perspective and ethical approach to sustainable development. This degree in Environmental Engineering will put you in high demand in energy and water utilities, government departments and corporations. Structure

The first year of the course establish a sound foundation in Engineering, including units in mathematics, computing, chemistry and physics. Students will then undertake more advanced units in engineering concepts and specialise in their chosen discipline in the final 2 years. For some majors, students will also take units from other schools to supplement their knowledge.
