The course is designed to provide Australian and international environmental professionals with an introduction to advanced topics and skills in environmental science. The flexibility and interdisciplinary approach of this program will give you the opportunity to further develop your problem-solving skills and enhance your knowledge in environmental science. You will complete two core units, Environmental Monitoring and GIS for Environmental Management and Planning, as well as two electives of your choice. Upon completion of this Graduate Certificate, you may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma or Masters program in Environmental Science, enhancing your career prospects further. This course is relevant to those who wish to practise in environmental science, or base management on a sound understanding of scientific principles and knowledge, in the public and private sectors, in Australia and overseas.

Entry Requirements:

Bachelor Degree (AQF Level 7) in Environmental Science, Marine Science, Biological Science, Conservation Science or a closely related field of education; and English competence.
