This scholarship is available to support a student’s study for an honours year degree, PhD or Masters in the Discipline group of Environmental and Conservation Science. It is intended for a person whose project focuses on a contemporary environmental issue associated with the health of Western Australia’s native trees in ecosystems. Some examples, where projects can be based around include remote sensing; role of invertebrate and vertebrate fauna in tree health; biology, ecology and management of pests, diseases and beneficial microorganisms; health of native trees in urban and peri-urban landscapes; and sustainable biodiversity plantings.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for this scholarship you must: intend to enrol full-time in an honours, PhD or aMRT level course within the Discipline group of Environmental and Conservation Science at Murdoch University.; have a record of high achievement in previous studies or professional work.; intend to conduct research into a contemporary environmental issue in the field of environmental use or preservation of Western Australia's native trees.
