    Chiropractic Science

I was always passionate about working in spots and healing people, so it was a decision between physio, chiro and exercise science. After a tour of Murdoch’s chiropractic clinic I was fascinated, and that helped me choose Chiropractic Science.

I have been a Murdoch student now for almost three years, I have learnt that at Murdoch you’re an individual not a number, and you can be true to yourself. The people at Murdoch are really cool and the Perth campus has an amazing atmosphere. I experienced this on Open Day, and also during Year 12 when I visited the campus with some of my friends.

I chose Murdoch University and I’ve never looked back.

    Marine Science

I grew up in a small town in the Wheatbelt, I moved to Perth to attend Murdoch and study Marine Science. I added a minor in nature-based tourism as it allows me to incorporate my passion for the ocean with my love for working with people.

My experience at Murdoch has been awesome. I was surprised by the number of clubs and events. There’s so much going on around campus and there’s something fun on every week. What I love about Murdoch is the community feel. As a regional student, this made my transition to university so much easier.

I’ve had many opportunities to gain practical experience. You don’t have to wait until your course is over. The knowledge I’ve gained at Murdoch has allowed me to begin working in my field as a wildlife cruise tour guide.

Computer Science + Mathematics and Statistics

I have a passion for mathematics and statistics, that is why I pursed my studies in this area at Murdoch. I was awarded two scholarships at Murdoch, the International Welcome Scholarship which helped me with my move from Malaysia to Perth, and the Scholarship for Scientific Excellence.

I chose Murdoch for its learning environment as it is peaceful, and the support given to students is amazing as well. It’s a great environment for us to grow, be inspired and learn. The bonds I have made with staff, lecturers and students is what makes me love my uni experience.

After graduation, I hope to venture into the IT industry and apply my knowledge to aid the research in Big Data. I want to help make the world a better place.
