Nan Tien Institute's English for Academic Purposes is designed for students to improve their English to achieve their goals at university and higher education institutions. In this 12 week course students will collaborate with their peers from around the world to successfully manage group projects at an academic level. It is ideal preparation for international students about to study at an Australian university to practice important classroom skills and academic formats.
Structure
The English for Academic Purposes Course is a 240 hour course, running for 12 weeks and is comprised of three 4-week modules. The course requires students to undertake 25 hours of study per week including: 20 hours of dedicated EAP classroom instruction and 5 hours of independent, self-study and research/ project work.

Standard entry requirements
- The minimum entry requirement is IELTS 5.5 - 6.0 or Nan Tien Institute Placement Test or accepted equivalent
- Minimum age 18 years old
