In this program, experienced and friendly teachers focus on communication to improve student's fluency quickly. Students build their language proficiency by studying the macroskills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students also focus on the areas which they want to develop most by choosing an elective program. Students from beginner CEFR Level A1 to advanced C1 will cover general English skills at a level to suit their needs. Teachers focus on communication to improve student's fluency quickly.
Structure
Course Start Dates: Every Monday except public holidays. Study hours: 20 hours in class per week plus 5 hours of homework/self-study per week. Course Length: Minimum four weeks up to 72 weeks for all 6 levels. Class size: Up to 15 students Assessment: Students graduate to the next CEFR level when they are able to demonstrate the outcomes in the areas of Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing for that level in the week 12 test. Visa requirements: Working Holiday Visa (maximum 17 weeks), Student Visa or Permanent Residents. Please check the DIBP website for visa requirements. Vacation Breaks: Spring, Summer, Winter and Autumn, 2 week breaks are marked on the Offer Letter.

Standard entry requirements
Minimum age 18 years old. Applicants must show completion of Senior High School Certificate or equivalent. Intensive English is designed to cater for students who will study English Language for the first time as well as students who can demonstrate higher level outcomes. If students have an IELTS score less than 2 years old it will be taken into consideration to assess their level. On arrival day students will sit for a placement test to assess their current English language learning needs.
