Certificate III in Wool Clip Preparation (13)

This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It is a specialist wool classing qualification for owner classers and enables them to apply for registration with AWEX Ltd.

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Maintain OHS processes; Provide first aid; Appraise wool using industry descriptions; Prepare wool based on its characteristics; Prepare fleece wool for classing; Prepare skirtings and oddments; Supervise clip preparation; Document a wool clip; Prepare facilities for shearing and crutching; Class fleece wool; Oversee and instruct shed staff; Comply with industry quality assurance requirements.

Study Pathways:

Credit may come from Certificate II in Wool Clip Preparation or Certificate II in Wool Handling. Further training pathways include Certificate IV in Wool Classing or Certificate IV in Agriculture.
