Certificate II in Printing and Graphic Arts - General

North Metropolitan TAFE, TAFE WA

This qualification is part of the Printing and Graphic Arts Training Package. It applies to those who perform a range of mainly routine tasks in the printing and graphic arts industry. They work under direct supervision, and use limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context. Elective streams available include: Converting, binding and finishing; Ink manufacture; Digital media technologies; Pre-press; Printing; Screen printing; Support.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education


15 units: 4 core; 11 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices; Inspect quality against required standards; Maintain a safe work environment; Communicate in the workplace. Plus electives.

Study Pathways:

It is a preparatory qualification that can be used as a pathway into a range of specialist Certificate III qualifications within the printing and graphic arts industry.
