This degree has been developed with extensive input from the industry to ensure it is relevant to the students career prospects, pertinent to the issues in the industry and can provide practitioners with an understanding of the ethical, legal and professional ramifications of their decisions. This degree provides students with a detailed study of financial planning and the legal, regulative and social environment in which it exists. In the first level, students will be introduced to the related fields of Accounting, Statistics, Commercial Law and Financial Markets. In the second and third levels of this degree students will cover Superannuation, Insurance, Wealth Creation, Investments and Portfolio Management. In addition students will study the related areas of Communications, Marketing and Computing - providing them with an understanding of client relations and the utilisation of technology for business advantage.

- 24 units: 19 core units
- 5 electives. Students must complete at least 8 RMIT OUA units to be awarded a degree.
