This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It reflects the role of personnel working in management positions with a technical level of skill in land management roles.

Structure:

10 elective units

Subjects you can Study:

Electives: Plan prescribed burning for fuel, ecological and cultural resource management; Implement natural and cultural resource management plans; Survey and report on Aboriginal cultural sites; Manage natural areas on a rural property; Conduct comprehensive inspection of park facilities; Plan and monitor works projects in catchments and waterways; Manage wildlife hazard reduction programs; Develop a management plan for a designated area; Manage fauna populations; plus more.

Further training pathways from this qualification include, but are not limited to, Advanced Diploma of Conservation and Land Management.

We also offer an alternate pathway for Year 11 and 12 students to achieve a QCE, agricultural certificates and CQUniversity study credit. Our partnership with CQUniversity provides a hands-on tertiary education.
