Bachelor of Human Services / Bachelor of Business
Our double degree in human services and business will prepare you for work with organisations that provide public, non-government and private services such as child and family, disability support and health services. In the business component, you may choose a major in accounting, advertising, economics, finance, financial planning, human resource management, international business, management, marketing or public relations. This course has a strong focus on contemporary social issues. You will develop skills in casework and case management, social policy processes, group and team practice skills, advanced communication, community work, and understanding families and relationships. You will complete over 500 hours of human services placement during this course, meaning you will gain the hands-on experience you need to build a successful career. During placement, you will further develop your assessment and intervention skills and develop your own practice framework.

Structure
384 credit points; The structure of the Human Services component consists of 120 credit points of core human services studies, 48 credit points of professional practice studies and 24 credit points of human services elective studies. The structure of the Business component consists of at least 72 credit points of business core units and a major of up to 120 credit points, depending on the major selected

- Year 12 or equivalent
- Before you start this course, we assume you have sound knowledge of the subject/s listed below. If you Do not have the subject knowledge, you can still apply for the course but we strongly encourage you to undertake bridging studies to gain the knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C). And for Accounting, Finance, Economics and Marketing majors: General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C).
