This course is a motivating and flexible way to develop the skills and knowledge required to enter the workforce as a successful employee. Through the core units (subjects) of study, students will be given a broad but professionally rewarding introduction to the principles of business. Students will also choose a major which will provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience, equipping graduates as a professional in their discipline of choice. Combined with a set of complementary study options, the Bachelor of Business will give students the flexibility to design the degree to suit their own interests and aspirations.
Structure
- Students must complete 24 units of equal weighting, comprised of: 8 Business core units
- 8 major core units
- and 8 units from a number of options (second major, minors, extension or electives). All 9 majors in the Bachelor of Business are available at QUT's Gardens Point campus.

Standard entry requirements
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Assumed knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C)
- And for Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Financial Planning and Marketing: General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C).
