This program integrates both the engineering and mathematics degree. Mathematics and engineering have always had close connections and recent advancements in these areas have resulted in mathematics and statistics increasingly being used to help solve complex engineering problems.
Structure
480 credit points taken from the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) and the Bachelor of Mathematics degrees. For the Engineering component students will undertake at least 60 days of work placement as part of a Work Integrated Learning within the course.
