This course is designed for students intending to gain entry into University undergraduate/postgraduate degree, University Diploma and/or Foundation programs. Its purpose is to improve students' English language and study skills in order to prepare them for independent study and to familiarise them with the Australian academic environment.

Course Fee:

International: $4,680

Entry Requirements:

Students wishing to study a Foundation or Diploma program: an IELTS score of 5.0 (with reading and writing sub-scores of at least 5.0); Students wishing to gain direct entry into an undergraduate or postgraduate degree: an IELTS score of 5.5 (with reading and writing sub-scores of 5.5 and no other sub-scores below 5.0). Students who do not have original documentary evidence of an IELTS test with the required scores but who successfully complete the relevant QUT International College EAP entry test are also eligible for entry.


12-week program; 25 hours per week
