Master of Engineering Management

This program offers a qualification to practising engineers in management with advanced engineering skills and knowledge. It will provide analytical tools and methods required to improve operational efficiencies, typically within manufacturing and service organisations. Graduates will gain technical skills in quality control and improvement, organisational infrastructure management (transportation, water, energy, buildings and telecommunications), and the development of decision support systems.

Entry Requirements:

A completed recognised 4-year Bachelor Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 on QUT's 7-point scale

Structure:

96 credit points (8 units) consisting of: 48 credit points of core engineering management postgraduate units, including a 12 credit point advanced research skills unit and 24 credit points of research based project units and; 48 credit points of engineering management discipline units.

There is no early exit option available for students that enter the BN87 program. Graduates that meet the GPA requirements, may be eligible to apply for discipline relevant Doctoral level studies.
