This course prepares students for work in the global marketplace by focusing on the latest theory and practices relating to marketing, from analysing personal buyer behaviour through to business-to-business marketing, global marketing, market research and innovation. This course consists of a common core in business, major studies in marketing, and the flexibility to choose eight subjects from business or other disciplines including entrepreneurship, management, economics and finance, information systems and international business. Specialist minors in marketing are also offered.

Structure

This program is suited to students who already have significant working experience, or for those who want to extend studies in business and related disciplines by choosing from a range of second majors and minors to suit career or personal development goals. The program consists of 24 courses (each 12 credit points) and includes: 8 compulsory common business core courses, 8 marketing discipline major courses, 8 flexible courses.

Recognition

Students and graduates of the program are eligible to apply for membership of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) and the Australian Market and Social Research Society.
