Occupational therapists see beyond a diagnosis or disability. They understand how people, their environments and the activities that matter most come together to shape everyday life. In occupational therapy, these everyday activities are known as occupations - the things people want, need and are expected to do throughout life. By working in partnership with people, occupational therapists create the right fit to enable participation, health and wellbeing. At RMIT you'll develop this way of thinking through authentic real-world learning, human-centred design, technology and innovation. Working alongside people, communities and industry partners, you'll build the knowledge, professional reasoning and practical skills to create evidence-informed solutions across health, disability, education and community settings.
