This qualification reflects the role of individuals who are competent in a range of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) roles, including basic Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, basic cyber awareness, generalist IT support services, networking, programming and systems. Individuals who work in these fields apply broad sets of skills, including foundational knowledge in critical thinking and customer service skills, to support a range of technologies, processes, procedures, policies, people and clients in a variety of work.

Structure
Consists of 12 units of competency and is delivered over a six-month period. The program is structured to provide learners with the practical skills and knowledge required for entry-level roles in the IT industry. Delivery is scheduled across 18 weeks and includes three days per week of trainer-led classes supported by practical workshops, demonstrations, classroom activities, and guided learning sessions.
