Structure

Through the 4 units in this course, you will learn: - To use key university resources and digital tools to build academic writing skills and develop the ability to research, evaluate, and properly reference a range of academic sources. - To think critically, analyse information, and reflect on your learning to succeed in university, building clear and confident communication skills across speaking, writing, and visuals. - Algebra, data analysis, and problem-solving, using tools like Excel and Desmos to apply maths with confidence and build numeracy skills for university. - How university life works, including its expectations and values, while building skills in independent learning, respectful communication, and researching and planning your future study options.

Entry requirements

• You need to satisfy all of the following academic (entry) requirements to be considered for entry into this course. You must: - Be at least 18 years of age by the commencement date. - Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen. - Meet RMIT's minimum English language requirement.

Each plan code is linked to a corresponding RMIT associate degree, so you can tailor your study to the discipline you're most interested in: - Plan code PR001FT – For students who intend to continue into the Associate Degree in Information Technology. - Plan code PR001SCH – For students who intend to continue into the Associate Degree in Health Sciences. - Plan code PR001BUS – For students who intend to continue into the Associate Degree in Business.
