Through the Course in New Energy Technology Systems, you will develop skills to work in battery storage installation. Holmesglen is part of a pilot program to roll out this new course, which incorporates a range of new course resources including short videos to support your training to help you retain and understand the information and see it applied in the appropriate context. This is a nationally accredited qualification developed by industry in response to the upcoming demand for residential solar battery installations by consumers. The course is restricted to licensed electricians and places are limited. After the course, you can continue to have access to information and updates so you stay up to date with on-going changes in the New Energy storage sector. The pilot is led by Future Energy Skills and validated and endorsed by the following industry stakeholders: Clean Energy Council, Smart Energy Council, Gippsland Solar, Energy Safe Victoria, National Electrical and Communications Association, Electrical Trades Union, and the Country Fire Authority.
