Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management

This program is focused on tackling common problems in the management of people across borders, in various legal and cultural contexts. Students will develop a critical awareness of these legal, ethical, social, economic and environmental challenges and their implications for effective and successful HR strategy, operations, processes and decision making. Students will understand the application of HR practice within small and medium enterprises, including start-ups and entrepreneurial firms, and the public and not for profit sectors as well as multinational corporations.

Australian: $14,880
International: $16,800

Entry Requirements:

An Australian bachelor degree or equivalent, or higher level qualification, in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution. If students do not meet the above entry requirement for the Graduate Certificate, may be considered with a minimum of 5 years work experience.

Structure:

The Graduate Certificate comprises four core courses in human resources, management and employment law.

Study Pathways:

If students wish to progress to the Master of Human Resource Management, upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management they will be admitted to the Master degree with exemptions from the four business enabling courses and the four courses completed in the Graduate Certificate, leaving a further eight discipline courses or electives to complete.

This program is accredited by by the Australian HR Institute (AHRI).
