Study pathways

Students who commence a Graduate Diploma in Computing, Graduate Diploma in Information Technology, Graduate Diploma in Software Engineering, Master of Information Technology, Master of Computing, or Master of Technology (Internet and Web Computing) and follow an approved study plan may transfer their credits from those programs by enrolling into the Master of Computer Science at least one semester before they are due to complete their current program. Graduates who undertake the minor thesis option as part of the Master of Computer Science and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or more, together with a good minor thesis examiner-report, may apply for direct entry to a PhD, with a possible scholarship.
