Study the chemical, physical and biological interactions that occur in the Earth's environment and gain skills and knowledge in the fundamentals of science and technology. Students will gain a broad understanding of multiple disciplines relevant to environmental science along with more in-depth knowledge in a particular area of science. As a future manager in environmental science, graduates will design and manage projects and communicate with a wide range of audiences. The Master program will satisfy the educational component of the requirements to become a Certified Environmental Practitioner

Standard entry requirements

Applicants must have completed a bachelor or master by coursework degree in science or engineering with a GPA greater than 2.0 out of 4.0. International qualifications are assessed according to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Recognition

Graduates can become members of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) which offers certification and provides access to a wide professional network, workshops, seminars, conferences and publications.

Study pathways

Students have successfully completed Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in the same discipline will be eligible for exemptions 48 credit points or 96 credit points.
