Entry Requirements:

An Australian undergraduate degree or its equivalent. Applicants with significant work experience may also be considered. Applicants applying for entry on the basis of work experience must include with their application: a CV direct applicant statement detailing their experience.


The Master consists of 192 credit points. This incorporates the Graduate Diploma (96 credit points). Some courses are offered online, giving you the flexibility to design a study plan to meet your needs.

Study Pathways:

Applicants successfully completed one of the following qualifications majoring in justice studies, criminology, criminal justice, legal studies, law or criminal justice administration will be eligible for exemption. Applicants with a bachelor honours degree, graduate certificate, graduate diploma or masters degree qualification majoring in a different discipline may also be eligible for exemption of up to 48 credit points (equivalent to one semester full time study). Students also use this program as the first step in advancing to PhD research.
