RMIT Gail E Donne Scholarship in Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine)

For students who identify as a woman enrolled full-time in a laboratory medicine program who can demonstrate financial hardship, academic ability and are involved in their community; worth up to $7,500.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be: be an Australian citizen; identify as a woman; be a resident of Victoria at time of application; be enrolling full-time in semester 1 and 2 2025, in one of the following programs: Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine) (BP147), Bachelor of Laboratory Medicine (Honours) (BH129), be passionate about pursuing a career in laboratory medicine; be able to demonstrate: academic achievement/ potential, interpersonal communication/ leadership skills, community involvement; be able to demonstrate financial hardship such as: receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card; have not previously completed a program at the same level of study or higher; be available to attend an interview, if requested*Preference will be given to applicants with a current regional/rural residence or who have moved from a regional/rural area to Melbourne to study this degree.*RMIT has a great range of online career support resources available including a prepare for interviews section.
