For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander postgraduate by coursework students; worth up to $14,000

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must: identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident; be enrolling full-time or part-time in a postgraduate by coursework program at RMIT in semester 1 2026; register with RMIT’s Ngarara Willim Centre and provide documentation confirming that you are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander by the scholarship application due date; have at least one semester of your program left to complete; be passionate about your study and future career Preference will be given to students who can demonstrate participation in your local, indigenous and/or university community; circumstance/s which impact your ability to study such as: receiving a government tested low income benefit or having a Centrelink Health Care Card, living with a disability, long-term medical condition or identify as neurodivergent, experiencing personal/family/social difficulties, be from an interstate or rural/regional area and moving/moved to Melbourne to study at RMIT have previously/are currently living in foster/kinship care or are a ward of the state
