RMIT University
The scholarship provides financial assistance for students relocating to Melbourne from interstate or a Victorian regional area, who are in their first year of study and can demonstrate disadvantage.
Eligibility
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents; be enrolled in the first year of a government-supported diploma, degree, honours or postgraduate coursework program; be studying full-time; not have previously completed an equivalent qualification; be relocating from interstate or a Victorian rural/regional area to study at a Melbourne RMIT campus; be able to demonstrate financial difficulties and educational disadvantage; and not have previously been enrolled at RMIT.

It is preferred that applicants apply direct to RMIT by the closing date in mid October. VTAC applicants will still be considered and should apply via the VTAC scholarships portal by the VTAC closing date and should indicate that they want to live 'on-campus'.
