Pool Lifeguard (Training Program)

This training program is made up of units from the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package. It is intended to develop the knowledge, judgement and physical abilities required to supervise patrons in an aquatic environment.

Entry Requirements:

Minimum age 16 years. Participants should hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate and RLSSA Bronze Medallion or equivalent; or prerequisite units including Respond to an aquatic emergency and Provide emergency care.

Subjects you can Study:

SISCAQU006 Supervise clients in aquatic locations; SISCAQU007 Perform advanced water rescues; PUAEME003C Administer oxygen in an emergency situation.

Established in 1894, Royal Life Saving Society Australia NSW is a Registered Training Organisation. The Society provides water safety, resuscitation and first aid education programs in schools and throughout the community. It also offers courses related to the aquatic and recreation industry.
