This training program is made up of units from the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package. It is intended to develop the knowledge, judgement and physical abilities required to supervise patrons in an aquatic environment.

Entry Requirements:

Minimum Age 16 years; Participants should hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate and RLSSA Bronze Medallion or equivalent

Subjects you can Study:

SISCAQU002 Perform basic water rescues; SISCAQU006 Supervise clients in aquatic locations; SISCAQU007 Perform advanced water rescues.

The Royal Life Saving Society Australia WA Branch is a Registered Training Organisation. It strives to prevent loss of life by promoting safe participation in water-related activities. Royal Life Saving has developed a range of educational materials, resources and training programs to meet the needs of people working in the sport and recreation industry. The provider offers training in lifesaving, lifeguarding and first aid. The Teacher of Swimming program is offered in partnership with AUSTSWIM.
