Established in 1992, Rural Industries Skill Training Centre Inc is a Registered Training Organisation. For more than 24 years, Rural Industries Skill Training Centre has been recognised as one of Australia's leading independent agricultural colleges in vocational education and training. Centred around its philosophy of developing critical thinking skills that produce adaptable, resilient, resourceful and technologically competent students who can think for themselves and show initiative in the workplace, RIST delivers outcomes to students and industry alike through collaboration, partnerships, innovative training measures, organisational integrity and a thorough understanding of market opportunities and needs. RIST students can pursue meaningful, sustainable agricultural careers through a comprehensive program offering that extends from traineeships, Certificate II through IV level qualifications and the Diploma of Agriculture.
Entry requirements for Rural Industries Skill Training Centre Incorporated
Commencing in 2017 a Bachelor of Agriculture will be delivered from the RIST Campus in Hamilton through CQUniversity.
Transfering your previous study credits
The Centre offers the opportunity for students to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in all nationally recognised training offered by the provider.
