The Associate Degree of Games Development at SAE enables students to build expertise in key areas of game development. Apply skills and knowledge in this exciting industry in areas such as level design, social and mobile game development, gameplay programming, game design, app design, project management, serious games and much more. Students also learn to speak how the professionals do with expert teachers guiding students in languages such as C++, Javascript and C#, all in a world-class, collaborative learning environment. The Associate Degree is also designed as an excellent pathway to further study, enabling graduates to progress to Bachelor level qualification.

The course is split into 3 phases: Foundational Skills Development Interdisciplinary Projects and Media Cultural Studies Final Projects and Work Placement

Standard entry requirements

Applicants for degree courses must satisfy one of the following minimum entry criteria: Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE) or equivalent, OR Completion of a diploma level qualification issued under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), OR Alternative entry for applicants who do not meet the requirements above.
