Certificate III in Advanced Wool Handling (10)

This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It focuses on a specialist wool handling role and allows individuals who are already working in the wool handling industry to develop further skills and knowledge in order to fulfil specialist roles in the organisation. The wool industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.

Core: Contribute to OHS processes; Pen sheep; Prepare fleece wool for classing; Prepare skirtings and oddments; Prepare facilities for shearing and crutching; Press wool for a clip; Perform shed duties; Comply with industry quality assurance requirements

Study Pathways:

Pathways into the qualification include Certificate II in Wool Clip Preparation or Certificate II in Wool Handling. Further training pathways include Certificate IV in Wool Classing or Certificate IV in Agriculture.
