Diploma of Forest and Forest Products

This qualification is part of the Forest and Forest Products Training Package. It is designed for job roles in the forest and forest products industry. It provides a pathway for typical management environments of forest and forest products industries including Arboriculture Manager, Forest Manager, Forestry Manager, Harvesting Manager, Nursery Manager and Plantation Establishment Manager.

Entry Requirements:

No minimum education. Entry may be gained through progression from a lower level FPI qualification or recognition of existing industry experience or qualifications.

Structure:

15 units: 6 core; 9 elective

Core: Manage quality customer service; Manage people performance; Facilitate continuous improvement; Contribute to the systematic management of WHS risk; Manage personal work priorities and professional development; Lead and manage team effectiveness. Elective: Protect and preserve incident scene; Supervise response; Conduct fire investigation and analysis activities; Command agency personnel within a multi-agency emergency response; plus more.
