Certificate II in Landscaping

This qualification is part of the Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management Training Package. It provides an occupational outcome in landscaping. The landscaping industry expects this qualification to be achieved to meet job outcomes at this level.

15 units: 8 core; 7 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Participate in WHS processes; Assist with landscape construction work; Construct low-profile timber or modular retaining walls; Install aggregate paths; Lay paving; Operate basic machinery and equipment; Plant trees and shrubs; Recognise plants. Electives: Assist with soil or growing media sampling and testing; Treat plant pests, diseases and disorders; Prepare and maintain plant displays; Renovate grassed areas;Transplant small trees; Operate and maintain chainsaws; plus more.
