Name: Magda Piszczuk

Course: Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)

Magda Piszczuk wanted to be a naturopath since she was 15 years old. Originally Magda began studying at another institution but when she decided to move to Melbourne she researched Victorian tertiary institutions and found that “SSNT had the best reputation”.

What Magda most enjoyed about SSNT was “the quality of lecturers”. Students also frequently mention how friendly everyone on campus is, the practical experience in the Wellbeing Centre and the relaxed vibe on the campus rooftop.

While Magda loved the student experience at SSNT she credits the college for helping her get into her first dream job in the industry, before she even graduated. “I got my first job through a connection I made in final year during one of the industry days SSNT put on for us. I now practise full time as a naturopath, four to five days a week. I see clients, specialising in children’s health, as well as thyroid and bone disease.”

Going forward Magda plans to open her own business and continue to help her clients with their health and wellbeing through the skills she learnt at SSNT.
