This qualification is part of the Construction, Plumbing and Services Training Package. It provides an outcome in trade contracting for swimming pool and spa construction.

An apprenticeship contract is strongly recommended.

18 units: 17 core; 1 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Manage OHS in the building and construction workplace; Select and prepare a construction contract; Produce labour and material schedules for ordering; Conduct on-site supervision of building and construction projects; Read and interpret plans and specifications; Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to building and construction projects; Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for swimming pools and spas; plus more. Elective: Arrange resources and prepare for the building or construction project; Build thermally efficient and sustainable structures; Plan and undertake site inspection and assessment of asbestos products and materials; plus more.
