This qualification is part of the Creative Arts and Culture Training Package. It reflects the role of individuals who have high level technical, creative and conceptual skills which they apply across a range of creative arts industry contexts. Practice at this level is underpinned by the ability to research, analyse, conceive and develop ideas and negotiate solutions.

16 units: 4 core; 12 elective

Core: Ensure a safe workplace; Manage copyright arrangements; Design innovative products; Maintain and apply creative arts industry knowledge. Electives: Extend expertise in a specialised art form to professional level; Publicly present a body of own creative work; Collaborate in professional creative projects; Establish and maintain environmentally sustainable creative practice; Apply visual communication theories to photo imaging practice; Obtain revenue to support operations; Critique cultural works; Refine drawing and other visual representation tools; Extend professional expertise across new art forms and media; plus more.
