The Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology is perfect for those interested in paraprofessional positions and careers, such as technical support or technical officer roles with councils, utilities or in construction engineering on civil projects. This course is delivered in a combination of engaging face-to-face classes, workshops, tutorials, lectures and online activities. Students learn the core concepts of civil engineering materials; advanced technology applications; structural mechanics; fluid mechanics; design of concrete structures, sewerage reticulation scheme, timber structures and storm water reticulation scheme; land surveying; engineering estimation techniques and project management. Students go beyond the classroom and participate in industry projects and practical workshops.
