A Diploma of Human Resource Management (BSB50320) will give you the training you need to work as an HR professional in a variety of settings across the human resource sector. Your coursework will equip you with the knowledge and skills to manage and retain staff, meet the legal requirements of a HR role and to motivate and get the best out of your workforce. This diploma requires that you first complete 3 units in Introductory Human Resources Management Skills to develop fundamental business knowledge. With these units completed, you can then embark on an additional 9 units to graduate with your diploma. If you decide not to continue, you can exit from the introductory skills course with a Statement of Attainment.

This course consists of twelve units.

Standard entry requirements

  • To ensure you have the best chance of successfully completing your diploma, you may enter this course if you meet any of the below criteria. Have completed the following units (or equivalent competencies): BSBHRM411 Administer performance development processes
  • BSBHRM412 Support employee and industrial relations
  • BSBHRM415 Coordinate recruitment and onboarding
  • BSBHRM417 Support human resource functions and processes. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to these units, which have been mapped as equivalent. Or: Have two years equivalent full-time relevant work experience
  • This course is not available to international students.
