This qualification is part of the Business Services Training Package. It applies to individuals with a sound theoretical knowledge base in marketing and communication and who demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that functions are effectively conducted in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams.

Entry Requirements:

Certificate IV or equivalent; or relevant employment experience.

12 units: 3 core; 9 elective

Core: Interpret market trends and developments; Design and develop an integrated marketing communication plan; Undertake project work. Electives: Coordinate advertising research; Research global design trends; Identify and evaluate marketing opportunities; Implement and monitor direct marketing activities; Plan and implement sponsorship and event marketing; Plan e-marketing communications; Develop and manage complex public relations campaigns; plus more.
