The learning outcomes of this course include a demonstrated mastery of the field of Creative Writing, the enhancement of the student's professional skills in this area and the acquisition of an in-depth understanding of approaches to Creative Writing gained through coursework and research.

96 credit points comprising coursework, a research project and a major manuscript.

Applicants who have prior qualifications or extensive experience in a relevant discipline, depending on their qualifications and experience, may be granted advanced level entry, with exemption from up to 24 credit points of the first-year of the course.


Students may exit with a Graduate Certificate in Arts or Graduate Diploma in Arts.
