Short Range Radio Operator Certificate of Proficiency - Marine Radio - 0417SROCP
It is a legal requirement that all persons operating a VHF Marine Radio hold a Short Range Radio Operator Certificate of Proficiency or SROCP. This includes recreational vessels as well as commercial operators. This qualifications fulfils the marine radio requirements for the Coxswain Grade 1 and 2 Near Coastal Certificate of Competency. SEAMEC offers Marine Radio Operator training to both Commercial and Recreational boat operators.
