This qualification is part of the Business Services Training Package. It is suitable for people who coordinate and maintain the WHS program in an organisation. It reflects the role of practitioners who apply a substantial knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of WHS contexts.

Entry Requirements:

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent

Structure:

9 units: 5 core; 4 elective

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Manage effective WHS consultation and participation processes; Contribute to the systematic management of WHS risk; Manage WHS risks; Investigate WHS incidents; Contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining WHS management systems. Electives: Manage rehabilitation or return to work programs; Contribute to work-related health and safety measures and initiatives; Contribute to managing WHS information systems; Lead and manage organisational change; Manage people performance; Develop workplace policy and procedures for sustainability; plus more.
