This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to be competent in hardware and networking, software programming and web development. A person with this qualification would participate effectively in WHS communication and consultative processes, implement and monitor environmentally sustainable work practices, determine and confirm client business requirements, contribute to copyright, ethics and privacy in an IT environment.

12 core units plus 6 electives.

Subjects you can Study:

Core: Configure, verify and troubleshoot WAN links and IP services in a medium enterprise network; Install, operate and troubleshoot medium enterprise switches; Design and implement wireless network security; Plan and direct complex ICT projects; plus more. Electives: Integrate database with a website; Install and maintain valid authentication processes; Manage an enterprise virtual computing environment; Plan and manage troubleshooting advanced integrated IP networks; plus more.

Students wishing to access WorkReady funding or VET Student Loans will be required to demonstrate satisfactory reading, writing and numeracy skills as part of course counselling before enrolling.
